NEWS ABOUT MY ART

May 2011 I was contacted by ABC news that they were going to purchase 2 prints for their Desperate Housewives set! I am not sure which episode they will be on or in which house. Check out my blog post for May 4 to see which prints they used.

November 1-7 2010 I thought I would let you know that I am profiled in my beloved Daily Painters Cafe. I have been a member of this group since 2006 and it has been nothing but a positive experience. It is such a well-run site (thank you Micah) with many wonderful artists who are great people as well as friends. To read the interview then click here: http://www.dailypainters.com/blog/

August 2010 I am thrilled to be a new member of the DPAIG (Daily Painters Art International Gallery) group. A huge thank you to Madison for selecting me as a Featured Artist for August. To read the feature and check out the awesome group of international artists then please click here.

"Thank you" to all of you who bought my art on my studio sale last month. I managed to sell 68 of 77 pieces!! It was a huge success and clears out some valuable space in my studio so I can continue to paint! I will probably have another studio sale next spring so sign up for my blog posts and I will let you know when the next one starts. Thanks again!

Featured Article About Me on Empty Easel

Wow what an honor! Yesterday I was the Featured Artist on Empty Easel, a huge online art magazine with practical advice, tips, and tutorials for creating and selling art. I want to thank Lisa Orgler who is such a talented writer and artist for writing such a wonderful piece! I wish I could write like Lisa, since most of the time I struggle to put words together that reflect what I want to say.

Regan Wines and Lucky Tornado

Late last year I was contacted by Regan Wines, a boutique winery in Napa Valley, CA, for some tornado art for their wine "Lucky Tornado". I came up with 3 paintings in which they will be using for their wine labels (first image on the left). I want to thank Lindsay and Matthew for giving me the opportunity to work with them and for the wonderful wine they sent me. Talk about fringe benefits! I encourage you to try a bottle from Regan Wines of Napa Valley soon!
